Terms & Conditions when Booking an Apartment in Barcelona

Here are the Terms & Conditions that apply when you book an apartment in Barcelona with us. By making a booking you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Also, please note that by booking with us you are agreeing to be bound by the Terms & Conditions implied by the answers in the Your Questions Answered pages.

We want to be clear and transparent in how we work with you, so please contact us if you have any questions or require any further clarification.

Cancellations

Bookings are not transferable from one apartment to another. In the event that you, the client, cancel or change the booking the booking deposit will not be refunded. If the cancellation is within 28 days of the start date of the booking a further cancellation fee will be charged to the credit card, thus making the total paid 50% of the original booking total. Where there is only a partial cancellation, (that is, fewer days) the 50% charge will be calculated on the difference between the original booking price and the revised booking price, and added to the revised price. Should Loving Barcelona cancel the booking a full refund of the deposit will be made.

No Show

If you cancel 72 hours (3 days) or less before your due date of arrival, or do not arrive at all, you will be charged the remaining amount for the booking, resulting in the FULL AMOUNT for the booking being paid.

We suggest that you ensure that your travel insurance covers No Show and Cancellation Costs.

Payment of Balance

For apartments where the balance MUST be paid in cash in Euros, if the balance, or any part of the balance is not paid in cash, and so must be charged to the credit card, then an additional 20% will be added to the amount unpaid in cash, plus an administration fee of 50 Euros.

Deposit

The deposit paid to secure the booking for an apartment in Barcelona is non-refundable.

Check-In / Check-Out

Check-In is normally after 3pm however we will try to accommodate all arrival times into your apartment in Barcelona. Arrivals after 8pm are charged an extra €20 per apartment. Check-Out is normally before 11am on the day of departure. If you are not checked out at the agreed time, and so delay our preparation team for the next guests you will be charged €50. Please also refer to the Additional Booking Conditions on the individual apartment page for any further applicable charges regarding check-in and check-out time that supercede these.

Changes to Number of Guests

We can amend your booking free of charge up until a day before your arrival at your apartment in Barcelona. After this point schedules for laundry and linen may have been prepared, and so will not be able to guarantee that changes can be accommodated. Also please be aware that for any change in price, the deposit must be changed to maintain it at its original percentage of the total booking.

Amendments made by Loving Barcelona

In the event that Loving Barcelona cannot provide you, the client, with the particular apartment in Barcelona that was booked, Loving Barcelona will endeavour to find apartment in Barcelona of similar characteristics subject to availability. In these circumstances you, the client, will not be required to pay more than stated in the original booking. In the event that no agreement can be reached as to alternative Barcelona accommodation, a full refund will be made by Loving Barcelona. Loving Barcelona will not be liable for further claims by the client.

Number and identity of the guests

You, the client, will inform Loving Barcelona of the number of guests included within the booking. Unless otherwise agreed by Loving Barcelona, only the number of persons indicated by the client when booking shall be authorised to use the apartment in Barcelona. The number of persons who may use the apartment in Barcelona may not exceed the number of persons allocated for each apartment. Pets are only allowed where permission has specifically been granted. In the event that Loving Barcelona or any of its agents discover any infringement of the aforementioned obligations, Loving Barcelona, at its sole discretion, will be entitled to request the client to leave the apartment in Barcelona and the client shall have no right to claim any type of compensation whatsoever.

Cleaning

The apartment in Barcelona shall be cleaned prior to the arrival of each client in the apartment. When leaving the apartment, the client will be obliged to leave the apartment in Barcelona in a reasonable condition. Loving Barcelona will be entitled to deduct any cleaning charges from the credit card used to secure the booking.

Behaviour

The client signing the agreement will be liable for the correct and decent behaviour of all the persons accompanying him/her. Should that person, or any of the persons accompanying him/her not behave in a suitable and responsible way, Loving Barcelona shall be entitled to request the client and the persons accompanying him/her to leave the apartment in Barcelona without the right for the latter to claim any type of compensation whatsoever.

Limitation of Liabilities

Neither Loving Barcelona nor the owner of the apartment in Barcelona shall be liable for any direct or indirect damages that may arise as a consequence of the use by the client of the apartment in Barcelona, including without limitation, damages, insurance, losses because of fires, robbery or criminal behaviour. In addition Loving Barcelona is solely acting as an agent for the property owner. Any agreement signed between the client and Loving Barcelona pertains soley to the behaviour of the client whilst in the property, and the authorisation of credit card charges.

Our Website

Loving Barcelona reserves the right to update any of its terms and conditions at any time, as may be required and as may be in line with the company's business. The obligation is placed on all users of the website to ensure adequate measures are taken to maintain an awareness of such terms and conditions on a regular basis. By agreeing to use this site, it is implied that any such changes are accepted by any such third party and, that any such third party undertakes to comply with any such changes. Whilst Loving Barcelona do their utmost to maintain the accuracy of the information contained on our website, we cannot be held liable for any errors or omissions that may arise or be responsible or liable for any negligence in relation to information on or accessible from this website.
These terms do not affect consumer statutory rights.

When you book an apartment in Barcelona through our website, we will need to collect information about you to facilitate the booking. This information may include, but is not limited to, details such as your name, address, telephone number and credit or debit card details. Unless we have your express consent we will only disclose personal information to third parties if it is required to complete your transaction with us.

Do we sell your personal data to third parties?

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes without your express consent

Consent

By disclosing your personal information to us using this website or over the telephone, you consent to the collection, storage and processing of your personal information by Loving Barcelona in the manner set out in this Privacy Policy. Some information and emails sent to Loving Barcelona may be used as testimonials on our apartments in Barcelona but no e-mail address or contact details will be displayed.
